Founded in 1988, The Bulldog Club has established itself as an extremely well priced alternative to top hotels. It offers guests upmarket accommodation in exclusive private homes in the heart of London and throughout the British countryside. Properties all have something special about them – whether simply an extremely elegant Kensington home, a Scottish Castle or a designer apartment in the Docklands. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, your comfort and peace of mind is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we’re always on hand to offer advice on the best place for you to stay, as well as suggestions on how to get the most from your trip. We’re also delighted to give guidance on trips to take in the time you have available, advice on tours of the countryside staying at different Bulldog homes, or ideas for pursuits of particular interest - whether gastro, historical, sporting or arty. Each host enjoys entertaining and welcoming guests into their home, and is always happy to offer advice on what to do and where to go. All London homes are close to tube stations, bus-stops and taxi-ranks for convenience when sight seeing. It is recommended to hire a car if you’re staying in the countryside, in order to make getting about easier. After booking and paying for accommodation, full details of the host, the home you have booked (including how to get there from major London airports), and a map of the location are emailed to the guest. On arrival at the home, guests are personally greeted by their host, and are given their own set of keys to enable them to come and go freely. Prices quoted are inclusive of all charges, including breakfast. Please note that there is a no smoking policy in all Bulldog homes, and that children are allowed in most homes, but not all.
