To make a booking

In order to make a booking, full payment for accommodation must be made in advance. Please email confirmation of the house you would like to book to emma@bulldogclub.com, attaching the required booking form.

Payment can be made either by credit or debit card. Due to the fact that we are a small company it is necessary for us to pass on credit card charges to guests. Charges are 2.75% of total cost of accommodation for use of Visa and Mastercard, and 3.5% for use of American Express. There is no charge for use of Debit card, such as Maestro, Visa Delta, Switch or Solo.

On receipt of your booking form, your invoice, booking confirmation, plus full details of the house you have booked and its exact location will be emailed to you by return.


Prices

Prices quoted are inclusive of all charges, other than credit card fees (see above) and include a breakfast. A single night supplement of 10% is charged at most properties.


Cancellations

In the event of cancellation we will try to re-let your accommodation. In the event of accommodation not being re-let, you are liable to 30% of the total charges if you cancel within 28 days of the start of your visit, and 60% of the total charges if you cancel within 14 days of the start of your visit. Cancellation within 48 hours before the start of your trip is non-creditable, transferable, or refundable.

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended in order to cover holiday risks, such as cancellation, losses, personal injury, illness, loss or damage to luggage and personal affects.


Accommodation and Booking Conditions

The Bulldog Club does not itself provide (or control those who provide) the accommodation, but acts as a booking agent for the host.

The contract for accommodation is between the guest(s) and the host.

Neither The Bulldog Club nor the host (such expression in these conditions to include any member of the host’s family) shall be liable to the guest(s) for any loss or damage caused to or suffered by the guest(s) or the guest(s) personal belongings, luggage, money or other property howsoever caused; nor for any loss to the guest(s) arising out of the unavoidable cancellation or variation of the intended accommodation or related facilities and services.

In no event shall The Bulldog Club or the host be liable for any economic or consequential loss in respect to any claim against either The Bulldog Club or the host in respect to death or personal injury arising from circumstances beyond the control of either of them.

The Bulldog Club reserves the right to substitute alternative accommodation of a similar standard to that indicated in the email of confirmation. This is unlikely to occur except in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Any dispute arising out of the agreement for provision of accommodation shall be governed by and subject to English Law and jurisdiction.


Arriving at your room

Arrival times vary from property to property, and depend on whether guests have stayed in the house on the night before your arrival. If you are arriving early into the UK on a long haul flight arrangements can normally be made to leave luggage at the house, before gaining access to your room later in the day. Please check with the office.


Leaving your room

Guests are normally expected to leave their room by 10am on day of departure.


Privacy Statement

The Bulldog Club respects the privacy of its clients and prospective clients. Personal information will never be disclosed to third parties.

Information supplied to The Bulldog Club will only be used for communicating news, offers and developments via our marketing material.

The Bulldog Club operates within the guidelines set out by the UK Data Protection Act (1998).
